Thoughts Like A Theme Park (Part 1 )

I ruminate over an unearthly amount of time here,

This medium and I bleed into each other,

A testament to our unspoken blood oath.

Quite the task, telling me and my poetry apart,

Honestly, where would you even start?

You would have better luck counting back from infinity.

A glimpse of my thoughts is like ingesting an Albert Hoffmann creation

My world is like looking at a rainbow and seeing colours diverging —

Criss-crossing, Intertwining, binding and colliding.

Absolutely. In my world, reality and I repurpose a rainbow for shibari,

I hear you say, “Well, by that point, It’s no longer a rainbow”

To which I say “Precisely. It’s become something more”

  1. So, lo and behold, here is the awaited series. At some point, an artist just camouflages into his or her creation. It is as elusive as counting to infinity as you so very well articulated.

“Absolutely. In my world, reality and I repurpose a rainbow for shibari,

Repurpose a rainbow for shibari? This is such a poetic and yet out of the box metaphor for such a theme, I am in awe and it is really true art and artist just become something more than their core existence after a point of time if I am analyzing your theme correctly.

And, as always, your wonderous titles. Thoughts like a Theme Park is such a distinguishing title and you really seem to have a knack at titling your pieces.

    Enigma 🙂

    1. Lol this series gives me mixed feelings. And I think thats perhaps the most appropriate way I can portray it considering the title. I was trying something new whilst experiencing something new too.

I drew from a lot of turbulent feelings but I’m glad it came out okay 🙂
