Blogger Interview Tag.

My friend Neha from ForgottenMeadows nominated me for this (very interesting) challenge. Neha is an inspirational writer, who has on many instances been supportive of my blog even during my first days here on WordPress. If you haven’t checked out her blog please do; as there is always something new to learn from her poetry and her blog.

You can check out her response to the challenge here

* Answer the questions in full
* Don’t forget to tag up to ten other bloggers at the end

Here are the questions:

How did you get into blogging?

It was a hot evening in 2014, I had just come from an admittedly boring lecture to which I had gone with my trusty note pad. This note pad I always carried was quite special to me, I had divided the pages into sections for separate units of my studies. However, the last 15 pages were riddled with poetry and prose I jotted wherever I went; naturally making it a MUST carry.

I was chatting to a friend online when out of the blue they said, “Dude, you should start a blog”…at the time it seemed like a weird idea, I liked showing my writing to people I knew, I didn’t think anyone else but my friends would like reading what I wrote. Truth be told, I never thought I’d enjoy it as much, but two years down the line, i’m still here…all because one of my friends suggested the idea…thanks friend (who’s name I can’t seem to remember for some reason 😛 I just know it was a girl)

“SHAME”….*bell rings*….”SHAME”….*bell rings* <=== Game of Thrones fans will understand this 😀

What advice would you give to a blogger just starting out?

Blog about what you like and what you find interesting, and another thing, blog when you feel like it… blogging constantly without rest will make it feel like a job, I find that makes you resent writing, and you don’t want that.

What would be your dream campaign?

Dream campaign: something that involves all sorts of artists or writers, so we talk and share ideas…lol sounds a bit dodgy, but I think it would be nice, ’cause when it comes right down to it; who understands us more than us?

Do you have a plan for your blog?

Not really, ultimately my blog is an outlet, my feelings on life and the world overall are always changing and with them, the direction my blog takes.

I guess if I had a gun pointed to my head I would say the plan is to keep writing poetry for my blog (then the person wielding the gun shoots me anyway 😀 )

What do you think about rankings?

Rankings are subjective, and that’s why I don’t like them. I think they’re okay in a competitive sense e.g. football leagues, but for art, nah. A poem about a single raindrop may look like a rank 75 kinda idea to others, but to me, well, that’d be interesting…speaking of which, ACTUALLY writing a poem about that might not be such a bad idea 😛 *jots idea down*

Here are my nominees, please check out their blogs to view some amazing talent.
