Emptiness (ForgottenMeadows & Original-Dante)

My good friend Neha from ForgottenMeadows and I have decided to do a collective of collaborations each month, for the next five months. This collaboration was the first of five, and our topic this time around was Emptiness. If you’re looking for a poet who spreads poetry filled with hope, inspiration and a plethora of other emotions we face in our day-to-day lives I suggest you go and check out her blog, as she provides plenty of really good poetry. (p.s. tell her I sent you 😉 )

My sections are in this colour

Neha’s sections are in this colour

What else do I look for

When I don’t even know

What else to look for?

I have many missing

Pieces and parts

Is it all for naught?

Constantly searching,

Yet I haven’t even

Found myself.

In between the empty spaces,

I sometimes hide,

the obscure tangent thoughts,

that always find,

me.

They fail all logic,

but haunt

my day and night

like an infinite black hole,

they consume

my mind.

In between the empty spaces,

I sometimes hide

the obscure tangent thoughts,

that always find,

me.
