Like a glitch
Is how I felt,
Lagging behind.
A day too late
With my emotions,
Or rather events,
With you.
Without my pen
To nourish my poetic palate
I end up feeling
Like an extra, In a world
Full of main characters.
I hope I’m not
Being too forward
When I say,
You understand me
Like no-one ever could.
