By the moonlight (collaboration)

Sharing a piece

With the moon

Writing letters

Of what I feel for you

My friend’s rays

Reflecting off ink soaked paper

Letters shimmering

The moon highlighting

Its approval

Of what it believes to be the best parts

All of it.

Pale Edge

Letting you in my mind

Tell me what you find.

I’ve had a lot of friends

Relationships

With their fair share of bends.

Black and white

Sundering deeds

Colors that rarely meet.

Indeed

Emotions, at times

Synonymous with peaceful

The days

Of being on the drama filled front-line

Long gone.

Staying low,

Like a soldier gone prone

Intentions, ever clear

Like corporate windows.

Many keep a line of trust

Never to be breached

I respect that.

But guess what

I actually kept two

Until I found you.
